Swim. Reached the opposite wall. Breath roughly and harshly. Feel tired.

Lean on pool wall and think. This is not something I want to do.

Where is my mistake?

Slow down. Stop breathing according to limbs’ movement.

Move the limbs according to breathing. Slow breath out.

Breathing is light. Swim smoothly, effortlessly.

 

Leave desire aside. Live according to every each breath. Effortless.

 

 

水の中での呼吸

 

向かいの壁に泳ぎ着く。息は荒く早い。疲れた。

壁にもたれて考える。私のしたいことはこういうことじゃないはずだ。

何が間違ってるんだろう。

 

スローダウンする。泳ぎに合わせて呼吸するのをやめる。

呼吸に合わせて泳ぐ。ゆっくり息を吐く。

呼吸は軽く、スムーズに泳げる。力はいらない。

 

欲望を傍に置いて、ひとつひとつの呼吸に合わせて生きる。もがく必要はない。

Latissimus drisi are rectangle muscles covering lower and middle back.

lower and upper bars are fixed horizontally, face exactly forward.

Sail is smooth and supple, evenly stretched, but not tensed.

Catches the breeze gracefully.

Receive energy from the breeze.

With woking arms and legs,

pelvis and shoulders are horizontally, face exactly forward.

Back is smooth and supple, evenly starched, but not tensed.

Catch the breath gracefully.

Receive energy from the breath.

The very moment a word appears in mind, the beauty has gone into flat.

Can I wait a bit?

Like a short moment between inhale and exhale,

there is a short moment between we recognize it and label it.

The moment we put a label into a words, it looses its depth, its wholeness.

Breath mindfully. Observe the moment between. No control.

The moment gets longer by its own accord.

Be one with each breath and the moment.

Before word appear, be one with it.

Taste the depth of life.

*

Whether sit in water or not, see the water surface.

Water touch the skin from outside or inside with waving.

Leaves are floating over.

Thoughts are floating over.

See a leaf without touching.

It will flow away.

See the wave.

See the breath.

See the feeling.

Let them wave until quiet.

When water becomes transparent, find whole existence in invisible water.

Sit in tranquility.

Ahhhh… Bang!

During strong poses, someone gives up, fall down on the floor

with groan.

Inhale brings oxygen, source of energy into lungs.

Exhale release carbon dioxide, in the same time energy penetrate into body.

Breath comes and goes all the time. But quality is not same.

*

In intense feeling, breathing is hash. Exhale doesn’t be released.

Long deep exhale release stress. With opening mouth and groan helps.

Release tense. But energy too.

Close mouth. Calm smooth exhale let energy flows into whole body and Sahasra

brings tranquility in active or passive body.

Observe the quality of breath

Let it comes and goes like smooth wave. Let wave energy penetrates into sand without stain.

Stay in strong pose with calm breathing.

Inhale, exhale. stop. Click, click.

In hale, exhale, stop.  Click, click click, click.

I got nervous.

I was released from hospital,

but my mind was not.

Walking street under the blue sky, having coffee at a tropical terrace,

mind was caught in the click sounds, wondering what she was measuring.

Tumor?

Inhale exhale.

Stop worrying. Stop thinking what is impossible to know right now.

Whatever comes later, I am sitting here uprightly. Deep exhale.

Suddenly world gets color back. Released.

*

On the way home from hospital, enjoy walking in colorful world.

Walking along beach my sis said

‘I walk everyday. Sea never the same.’

*

Even time is similar everyday, sky, wind, tide level are different. And our feeling.

Practice yoga everyday.

Poses might be similar, but never the same.

Every moment new things are observed. Maybe at skin, muscles, bones, nerves, breath or mind.

Sometimes feel confusing, annoying, pain, something wrong.

Sometimes feel right, energetic and peaceful.

Watch the sea. Let waves come and go.

at this moment of beautiful Sunset.

*

With every breathing life becomes new.

This is the words my friend keeps in her heart.

Walked along beach.

Looked back the Sunset. Foot prints were there for a while.

Next wave cleaned up it. Sand became smooth mirror again.

Looks like nothing happened.

Deep breathe.

Cleanse lungs. Cleanse heart. Cleanse thoughts.

Renew life with every breathing.

‘Lovely scent isn’t it?’ Mum loves roses in her garden.

*

I bring it in front of my face.

Breath in deeply. Enjoy  scented air pass though nostril till bottom of lungs.

Breath out slowly. Still enjoy the scent. Root of tongue is opened widely.

When I find held places in my body and mind, I recall Mum’s rose.

Close eyes welcoming rosy air. Scent is absorbed into each cells, corners of mind.

Holdings are released. Roses are in my heart.

*

I love to do very gentle ‘Lion breathing’ in restorative forward extention pose, such as half buttterfly or cross-legged. It brings me relief and calm mind.

Rest the elbows on the suppot with spine straight. Elongate front side of the body same as the back side.         Close eyes.

Aware the breathing.  Slow smooth even inhale. Slow smooth even exhale. Inhale brings elbows away from hip. Exhale brings shoulderpits sink down towards the floor.

Inhale though nostrill. Exhale open the mouth. Exhale like foggy the mirror by the breath. Exhale  like wispering. Open the back of throat. Open the vocal cords.

Slow smooth even inhale. Slow smooth even exhale.

Exhale tongue sticked out from the mouth. The air come out from the bottom of lungs. Inhale fresh air come in. Exhale cleanse the lungs.

Inhale…

With exhale, old air come out from the bottom of the lungs.

With exhale, everything you don’t want to keep, leave away from your chest.

Cocoon Studio Singapore

Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am to 1130am and 3pm to 430pm. 4 classes a week. Due to Nat’s out of town, no class from 22nd to 31st August. Resume class from September.
