Long Summer holidays 長い夏やすみ

Almost 2 decades ago, I left my role as an Architect, as a daughter,

live in Bangkok and Singapore.

My long long Summer holidays is coming to the end.

Will move back to Japan soon.

２０年近く、仕事や立場を置いて

バンコクとシンガポールで過ごした。

その長い長い夏休みが終わる。

もうすぐ、日本に帰る。

It was challenging, boring, sad and happy days

under the bright tropic Sun.

I met many beautiful people, precious experiences

Namaste to all of you.

鮮やかな南国の光の中で

困難な、退屈な、悲しい、そして幸せな日々だった。

多くの素晴らしい人に出会い、得難い経験を受けた。

みんなに感謝を。

Because of the loss-yet-to-come,

minor-key-music stays in my heart.

Therefore I cherish this moment.

失う予感で、

胸の中に短調の音楽が留まる。

だからこそ、この瞬間を大切に思う。

Lift chest. Lift chin. Smile. Life goes on.

Prepare to face next challenge.

See you someday somewhere.
