T-shirts for us

 

‘All right. I’ll do that T-shirts project.’

 

I took charge the voluntary work – making T-shirts which is a part of the centenary events of Gruji B.K.S. Iyengar

for Iyengar Yoga Community of Singapore.

 

 

The design idea was already in me.

Singapore icon – Marlion

and Gruji’s Simhasana – lion pose.

 

Wishing unite us, all Iyengar practitioners in Singapore.

 

Half of T-shirts profit goes to Bellur Trust. Other half goes to operating costs of Iyengar Yoga Community of Singapore, which works for our union and help.

 

 

シンガポール　アイアンガーヨガTシャツ・プロジェクト

 

「じゃあ、そのプロジェクトは私がやります」

B.K.S.アイアンガー師生誕１００周年イベントの一部であるTシャツ作りに手を挙げた。

シンガポールのアイアンガーヨガ・コミュニティによるプロジェクト。

 

すでにデザインはアタマの中に。シンガポールのアイコンであるマーライオンと、アイアンガー師のシムハサナ、ライオンのポーズ。

わたし達、シンガポールのすべてのアイアンガー・プラクティショナーを結ぶものとなれますように。

 

Tシャツからの利益の半分は、ベルー基金へ寄付され、残り半分は、私たちを結び、援助する活動するアイアンガーヨガ・コミュニティの活動資金となります。

 

 

Under a small hut

In a Sunday morning, International day of Yoga event was planned in Singapore Botanic Gardens.

 

About to starting event, heavy rain started too. We run under a small hat nearby.

Singapore is a small island, has 25 certified Iyengar teachers, 7 studios and quite a number of practitioners.

But

we rarely see other studio people’s face. Life is busy. Singapore time is fast.

 

Rain seemed not to stop soon.

We started event under the hat, used round benches as block, as chair, as stage. We shared the space, thought each other for all of us fit in.

 

Srounded greenish rain and nature, We practiced closely together

under a small hat.

 

Event  was over. Rain too. We walked back to continue our daily life

with beautiful experience.

 

小さな屋根の下で

 

日曜日の朝、シンガポール・ボタニックガーデンで国際ヨガデーのイベントが予定されていました。

まさにそれが始まるという時に、まさかの豪雨。みんなで近くの東屋で雨宿り。

 

小さな島国のシンガポールに、25人のアイアンガーヨガ認定指導員、7つのスタジオ、たくさんのプラクティショナーがいる。でも、他のスタジオの人に会うことは稀。日々忙しくて、シンガポールでの時間はす早く過ぎていく。

 

雨はあがりそうになかったので、小さな屋根の下でイベントを始めることになりました。

東屋を囲んでいた丸いベンチを、ブロックの、イスの、ステージの代わりに。

お互いを思いあって、全員が場所を見つけられるように。

 

緑滴る雨と自然の中で、小さな屋根の下でみんなで一緒にプラクティス。

 

イベントが終わった時、雨もあがって、それぞれの日常に帰って行きました、

素晴らしい時間をココロに留めて。
