Today Sakura starts fluttering
like storms, like dream.
今日は散り初め
吹雪のよう。夢のよう。
Some year, with gentle weather
it stays a week or so.
穏やかな天気で、長く咲く年もある
Some year, with shoot of rain and wind
It’s gone earlier.
雨に撃たれて、風に飛ばされて、
あっという間に散ってしまう年もある。
Sakura has no choice.
It blooms gracefully, flutters majestically.
桜は選ぶことができない。
幸せに咲き、潔く散る。
I respect preciousness of their short lives.
その儚い命の貴重さを思う。
When the time comes, Sakura blooms.
Pink-mist appears everywhere.
時が来たら桜が咲いて、
ピンクの霞があちこちに現れる。
Full blooms only couple of days in a year.
It can’t be controlled by human.
満開は一年に数日だけ。
人の手でコントロールすることはできない。
Sakura needs coldness in winter for producing baby buds.
Spring approaches. Cold and warm day comes one after the other.
Buds grows slowly, feels warm Sunlight, sweetness of Spring,
blooms gracefully.
冬の寒さで花の芽を孕む。
春が近づいて、寒い日と暖かい日が行き来する。
蕾はゆっくりと育ち、
暖かい日差しを、甘美な春を感じて花開く。
All the other days makes this precious moments.
これまでの時間がこの瞬間のために。

5 years is completed from the first day I taught in Cocoon studio.
I believe daily practice let awareness blooms.

When ‘Sakura’ blooms, Japanese too love it, go crazy. The cloud-like pink flowers bloom for only one week a year. It’s time for renunciation and courage.

In Japan school and business year starts from first of April. Sakura blooms around same time. Under pink cloud we part and meet. Sadness and expectation are mixed togerther.

Whatever happens, when the time comes, Sakura blooms blissfully.
In spite of how much being loved, when the time comes, Sakura flutter away gracefully.

Let go. Then start new. Don’t forget the flutterd petals. Because of sadness, new green leaves are so beautiful.
